Spark/Scala Error Importing Packages

I am trying to work with GraphX module in Apache Spark. But I am not able to load the packages as defined in https://blog.cloudera.com/blog/2016/10/how-to-do-scalable-graph-analytics-with-apache-spark/

I am getting an error. Below is the code I entered, along with the error I get.

spark-shell --packages graphframes:graphframes:0.1.0-spark1.5, com.databricks:spark-csv_2.9

Re: Spark/Scala Error Importing Packages

It is finding and loading the package correctly but failing to start the driver and SparkContext in general.

Can you try to start a spark-shell without any other options? Are you able to launching Spark jobs through spark-submit?

If it doens't work, something is wrong with the environment.

Re: Spark/Scala Error Importing Packages

[ Edited ]

@mbigelowCan you please help me? I am not able to solve the issue. I have tried working with Quickstart VM 5.10. Problem still persists the same. So, I guess the problem is with the commands.

•	spark-shell --packages graphframes:graphframes:0.1.0-spark1.5, com.databricks:spark-csv_2.10.5
•	import org.apache.spark.sql.types.{StructType, StructField, StringType, IntegerType};
•	val customSchema = (new StructType).add("src", IntegerType, true).add("dst", IntegerType, true)
•	val df = sqlContext.read.format("com.databricks.spark.csv").option("header", "false").option("delimiter", " ").schema(customSchema).load("facebook_combined.txt")
