How many vCPU are allocated to yarn ?

If the answer is 4 or less, then you don't have enough vCPU allocated to yarn for this to work.

Re: Oozie launcher never ends

Hi Math,

i allocated 3 vCPU max to yarn !

so, should  it allocate 5 vCPU to Hardware Machine and yarn also !!

Note : i work with quickstart cloudera 5.10 machine !

think you !

Try setting that value to 10 for example and retry.

Do not modify the hardware specs. Just modify in Yarn the number of vCPU allocated.

You can to some extend "overcommit" the vCPU allocated to Yarn. For some testing cluster you should be fine.

Also, be sure you have allocated enough ram to Yarn.

Re: Oozie launcher never ends

think you Math for your help,
i solved it, so i allocate 8 vCPU to yarn (but in reality, machine have 4 core) and yarn allocated 20 Go Ram.
