Hive CDH5.7.2 and later used in any way replace CDH5.3 version of the GetLog method ?

Hive CDH5.7 and later used in any way replace CDH5.3 version of the org.apache.hive.service.cli.thrift.TCLIService.Client.GetLog(TGetLogReq req) method, whether to have relevant usage instructions? CDH5.3 public String getQueryLog(TOperationHandle tOperationHandle) throws Exception { TTransport transport = QueryTool.getSocketInstance(host, port); TCLIService.Client client = QueryFactory.getClientInstance(transport,type); String log=null; try{ transport.open(); TGetLogReq tGetLogReq = new TGetLogReq(tOperationHandle); TGetLogResp logResp = client.GetLog(tGetLogReq); log = logResp.getLog(); }catch (Exception e) { throw e; }finally { if (transport != null){ transport.close(); } } return log; }

Hi 5cai,

Please see TCLIService.FetchResults for equivalent functionality.

To retrieve operation logs, in TFetchResultsReq specify fetchType as 1.

thanks,

Mohit
