Hive Read Time connection error

Hello,

 

I am new to hive and trying to run hive queries from hive shell interface. I am able to create tables but running read query is giving connection error. I am using cloudera CDH 5.0.0 with Cloudera Manager 5.0.0-beta-2. Please help me understand this problem. Thanks

The error means that your node is either unable to make a connection to 192.168.2.124 cause of a firewall perhaps, or that the JT isn't running and serving on the interface with IP 192.168.2.124.
