In the log i see : Failed to get D-Bus connection: Operation not permitted

tand able to replicate the issue by:

Failed to get D-Bus connection: Operation not permitted

My Centos is :

Hi Fawze,

I assume when you say wizard, you are running the cloudera-manager-installer.bin .

You cannot use any other DB with the cloudera-manager-installer.bin, but here are directions on how to manually install  Cloudera Manager with an external database that you need to setup yourself.

https://www.cloudera.com/documentation/enterprise/6/latest/topics/introduction.html

I don't know what the failed message means, I have run the cloudera-manager-installer.bin on CentOS 7.3   4 and 5 without that issue.

Good luck,

Tina

Thanks Ana,

Now i can got the idea, that i can use the installer for quick installion for POC or use the requlat instrcution of installing cloudera manager and CDH cluster.

I think worth to mention this in the register page for the beta CDH6 since once i register i got a link that includes only the installer.
