Is there a way to terminate and redeploy a cluster independently of the cloudera manager node.
I dont have a problem if the initial deployment includes the manager node, however i would like to be able to terminate and redploy just the cluster at different points while using the Client (bootstrap-remote) and a configuration file.

If you terminate the cluster using the UI or API, the deployment (CM instance) will be unaffected. If you terminate the cluster using the terminate-remote command, the deployment will be terminated if there are no other clusters under the same deployment.
To add a new cluster to an existing deployment using the bootstrap-remote command, just make sure that the conf file includes the environmentName and deploymentName properties to let Director know which existing deployment to target.
