CDH Cluster installation freezes (Distribution/Activation of parcels)

avatar

After I removed from the complete cluster and all services (agent, scm server) and deleted the directories the new installation stops in this point

with no progress.

Distributed 5/5

Unpacked 5/5

Activated 0/5

Any ideas what could be the problem?

Maybe the cleanup of the previous installation was not correct?

thanks

Tomas.

PS. The cluster is running in Azure.

The activation involves unpacking the parcel in /opt/cloudera/parcels and setting the symlinks. Check the Cloudera Manager agent logs for any errors. They're under /var/log/cloudera-scm-agent
