Parcel not available for OS Distribution UBUNTU_XENAIL

Hi,

After the OS Upgrade from Ubuntu 14 to 16.04 we got the below message

"Parcel not available for OS Distribution UBUNTU_XENAIL"

After the upgrade we had done the below steps

on /etc/apt/sources.list.d/cloudera-cm5.list

Added below

# Packages for Cloudera Manager, Version 5, on Ubuntu 16.04 x86_64
deb [arch=amd64] http://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/ubuntu/xenial/amd64/cm xenial-cm5 contrib
deb-src http://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/ubuntu/xenial/amd64/cm xenial-cm5 contrib
# Packages for Cloudera Distribution for navigator-keytrustee, on Ubuntu 16.04 amd64
deb [arch=amd64] http://archive.cloudera.com/navigator-keytrustee5/ubuntu/xenial/amd64/navigator-keytrustee xenial-navigator-keytrustee5 contrib
deb-src http://archive.cloudera.com/navigator-keytrustee5/ubuntu/xenial/amd64/navigator-keytrustee xenial-navigator-keytrustee5 contrib

After that installed using 

sudo apt-get install cloudera-manager-server cloudera-manager-daemons cloudera-manager-server-db-2 cloudera-manager-agent

when the service was up and checked the GUI it was showing "Parcel not available for OS Distribution UBUNTU_XENAIL"

Any help would be appreciated

could you let me know the below details 

what version of cdh and cm  are you plaining to use ? 

version of your os with kernel ?

CDH and CM will be 5.11 

OS = Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS

Kernel = 4.4.0-81-generic

Any one have any idea on this, we are currently on halt of the OS upgrade because of this issue, had to revert back to the previous version 14.04

I have the same problem. I wanted to upgrade my cluster from Ubuntu 14.04 to Ubuntu 16.04.3 so I started by testing only one host. At the end I had to decomission the host, removed it and added back to cluster. But it failed to download the Parcels. So I have no choice but going back to Ubuntu 14.04 if I want to use that host.

Is there any way to upgrade a cluster to Ubuntu 16.04? Any order or instruction? 

I have the latest CDH (5.12) on all my hosts.

I upgraded my entire cluster (30) nodes to Ubuntu 16.04 very easily. Once the Parcel has the packages in Xenial then it's just the matter of download/distribute/activate.
