I'm using the scala kudu API to save data to kudu.I see every day that the numbers of file descriptors is getting higher and it doesn't decrease. I don't know what I could do to close all these file descriptors.
lsof -u kudu |wc -l 25000
In addition, the --block_manager setting according to the flagz page is on "log" and hasn't been changed (as far as we know) since installation.
