Want to ingest .nsf file into HDFS

Hi all,

I want to ingest a Notes Storage file i.e .nsf file of IBM Lotus Notes Server into HDFS.

I tried reading it JAVA APIs provided by IBM,but unable to convert it into csv/tsv file.

Please suggets any solution so that I can build some analytics on it.

I'm not familiar with the .nsf format, can you provide links to the Java API for parsing .nsf files?

I assume you're asking about how to consume the files once their in HDFS, or do you need help getting the files from the Lotus Notes Server to HDFS?

Re: Want to ingest .nsf file into HDFS

Java APIs for Lotus Notes comes with the installation of Lotus Notes.

And yes your assumption is right.

I want to consume .nsf file into HDFS,but normally it is not readable unless Lotus Notes Client is installed on your system.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any NSF file parsers so you probably need the Lotus Notes Client. The alternative would be if Lotus can export to another format that's easier to parse.
