Can we launch quick start VM from another virtual machine or virtual server ?

Hello Cloudera team,

I am using a corporate server which is a virtual server(not a physical server) as a host machine to launch cloudera quich start VM using VMware workstation player.

I am getting the following error.

 

a) 2017-08-28T10:43:57.511+12:00| vmx| I125+ Binary translation is incompatible with long mode on this platform. Long mode will be disabled in this virtual environment and applications requiring long mode will not function properly as a result. See http://vmware.com/info?id=152 for more details.

 

b) Other errors can be ignored, but the final error as following, Error 2017-08-28T10:43:58.463+12:00| vmx| I125: Msg_Post: Error 2017-08-28T10:43:58.463+12:00| vmx| I125: [msg.cpuid.noLongmode2] This virtual machine is configured for 64-bit guest operating systems. Please help me to resolve this error. I tried the same on my laptop and its working fine. But on virtual server its not working.
