Impala ODBC connection - DATE converting issue

Hi Team,

I'm using Tableau as a dashboard tool to develope the dashboards by connecting to Impala thru ODBC.

In Impala table, the field 'Actual_Date' is string. I imported that into Tableau and tried to convert that into DATE using Tableau buil-in function. Then it shows me the below error message.

Question: Is there any function in Impala to convert string to date.

Impala currently does not support Date data type, you can try timestamp instead.
