How to Start HBase from Java API

Hello Geeks,

I have been a little bit new with HBase, i was wondering if there is a way to start the Hbase from Java API,

i know how to make shutdown by using shutdown() function from HBaseAdmin, but i couldnt find an API way to start it back.

Re: How to Start HBase from Java API

You'd need to be running HBase for the API to connect to, so. If you'd like
to start the service, you could use the Cloudera Manager API

Re: How to Start HBase from Java API

This is the REST API to start a service:

http://cloudera.github.io/cm_api/apidocs/v10/path__clusters_-clusterName-_services_-serviceName-_com...

There should a similar way to do it via the Java API, please have a look here:

http://cloudera.github.io/cm_api/javadoc/5.4.0/index.html
