Hi ,
I can not see the `spark notebook ` sub menu in `Query Editor` menu.
Anyone has any idea about it .
I have edit this value :
[desktop]
app_blacklist=zookeeper,hbase,search,indexer,sqoop,security
in
- /etc/hue/conf/hue.ini
- /var/run/cloudera-scm-agent/process/${60-81}-hue-HUE_SERVER/hue.ini
- cdh-manager -> hue -> configuration -> `Hue Service Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve) for hue_safety_valve.ini`
restart the hue server ,`spark notebook ` ever show up.

Hi all,
This is definetly not working in CDH 5.8.2. I've followed the steps to enable the Notebook but there is no way to enable it in the Query Editor Menu... It has to be a Bug
Could you take a look?
Diego

Hi,
Thanks for your reply
the page http://hue.*.com/desktop/dump_config shows 'No help available.'
And this is my config in CDH manager of the field 'Hue Service Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve) for hue_safety_valve.ini'
```
[desktop]
app_blacklist=zookeeper,hbase,search,indexer,sqoop,security
[spark]
livy_server_host=node1
livy_server_port=8998
[notebook]
## Show the notebook menu or not
show_notebooks=true
```

Hi Romainr,
Yes, I've fixed the problem. I was trying to modify it in the hue.ini file, but it seems that you need to do it by means of the configuration tab in Cloudera Manager. Do you know the reason?
Many thanks,
Diego
