We would like to automate the deployment of Cloudera manager/CDH to our own datacenter. I can find two ways so far: 1. Cloudera Director with plugin like BYON, this method suffers from lack of document. 2. Use script to Install Cloudera manager, then use CM's API to install CDH.



Which method is preferred from Cloudera's perspective? Is there any instruction I can find for BYON plugin? Any suggestion is appreciated.
