Enter password: hadoop&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- But if you have changed mysql root password then you might want to look at the following link which talks about If you assigned a root password previously but have forgotten it, you can assign a new password.
