Solr installation and management from Ambari

Hello,

is it possible to install solr from Ambari stack section? If the only way installing solr is manual, is it possible to manage solr service from ambari after installation?

Hi, You can install HDP search which is Solr on HDP cluster however Solr is not yet integrated with Ambari officially.

yes. If you want to install solr for production please install it manually using below links -
