      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;A rel="user" href="https://community.cloudera.com/users/4020/mailsarfarazkhan.html" nodeid="4020"&gt;@sarfarazkhan pathan&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you check if you have internet connection in place? try # ping google.com&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I see from the log it seems your internet connection is not working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are using virtual machine for installation of ambari, the please follow below step to check your network settings -&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Open virtual machine on which you are trying to install&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Click on .. Machine-&amp;gt; Settings -&amp;gt;Network&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Make sure your adapter should be set to "Bridged Adapter" or "NAT"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Try restarting VM or network services.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;check again for downloading using wget command.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
