Knox for example only supports specific versions of an Hadoop service (see section 2.8.1.2 in <A href="http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.5.0/bk_security/bk_security-20160829.pdf)" target="_blank">http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.5.0/bk_security/bk_security-20160829.pdf)</A>.
