hdfs dfs -chmod -R 777 /mr-history

      <title>MapReduce2 History server service stopped a moment after starting via ambari</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.cloudera.com/legacyfs/online/attachments/60390-mapred-mapred-historyserver-masternode-01.zip"&gt;mapred-mapred-historyserver-masternode-01.zip&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.cloudera.com/legacyfs/online/attachments/60390-mapred-mapred-historyserver-masternode-01.zip"&gt;&lt;/A&gt;I've installed HDP via ambari and starting the services, but MapReduce2 History server service stopped several seconds after it successfully started. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Attached log from /var/log/hadoop-mapreduce/mapred/mapred-mapred-historyserver-masternode-01.log &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
