    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A rel="user" href="https://community.cloudera.com/users/16330/nkumar.html" nodeid="16330"&gt;@nkumar&lt;/A&gt;,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have doubts over hive-site.xml, because what I observe is that it creates its own DB instance rather than reference the pre-existing Metastore derby db. Is there something that I should do regarding the classpath?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
