That's not possible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As the root user run the following steps&lt;/P&gt;&lt;LI-CODE lang="markup"&gt;# su - hdfs
[hdfs@server-hdp ~]$ kinit -kt /etc/security/keytabs/hdfs.headless.keytab&lt;/LI-CODE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now you should have a valid ticket&lt;/P&gt;&lt;LI-CODE lang="markup"&gt;[hdfs@server-hdp ~]$ klist&lt;/LI-CODE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Happy hadooping !!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
