    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;a href="https://community.cloudera.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/80393"&gt;@rki_&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Indeed, records dns was not created during enrollment process&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;creating required records solved my issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks a lot &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":winking_face:"&gt;😉&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Datanode added but not seen by namenode</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We recently added a two nodes to our cluster through ambari wizard, we installed datanode, nodemanager, &lt;SPAN&gt;Metrics Monitor, LogFeeder&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The datanode/nodemanager are starting correctly by not live&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="enirys_0-1654504648793.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.cloudera.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/34507i14211BC331EC625F/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="enirys_0-1654504648793.png" alt="enirys_0-1654504648793.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;topology_mappings.data was updated in both mnode and cnodes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;LI-CODE lang="markup"&gt;cat /etc/hadoop/conf/topology_mappings.data

You can compare the host entries from the other working Datanode in freeipa.&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Every node in a Data Lake, Data Hub, and a CDP data service should be configured to look up the FreeIPA DNS service for name resolution within the cluster.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/linux_domain_identity_authentication_and_policy_guide/adding-host-entry" target="_blank"&gt;https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/linux_domain_identity_authentication_and_policy_guide/adding-host-entry&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
