      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.cloudera.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/102986"&gt;@Nikhil44&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First of all, Cloudera will not support &lt;STRONG&gt;Standalone Spark installation&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To access any hive table, we need a &lt;STRONG&gt;hive-site.xml &lt;/STRONG&gt;and &lt;STRONG&gt;Hadoop-related &lt;/STRONG&gt;configuration files like (core-site.xml, hdfs-site.xml and yarn-site.xml)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
