    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is one of our frequent challenges.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is the difference between:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Session Count from the ImpalaD UI&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;And&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;netstat -an | grep ESTABLISHED | grep 21050 | nl&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;The counts from netstat matches the &lt;SPAN&gt;"Active Frontend API connection" chart, but not the Session Count from the ImpalaD UI.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If that's the case does 'idle session timeout' still apply?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scratching my head here since I always thought Sessions as per ImpalaD UI indicated the culprit involved. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
