    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.cloudera.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/80101"&gt;@shubham_sharma&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm trying to insert into Hive managed table from and external table. This external table is in the Hive schema and is pointing to HBase via SerDe.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Basically I'm running Beeline in the Host where CDP is installed. The Cluster has 3 nodes, those nodes are configured properly in the quorum properties.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.cloudera.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/110271"&gt;@Marks_08&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It could be an issue with the the beeline shell not able to include all the required configuration files needed for authentication.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you please try with exporting the configuration manually and then launching the beeline shell.&lt;BR /&gt;For example -&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;export HADOOP_CONF_DIR=/etc/hadoop/conf:/etc/hive/conf:/etc/hbase/conf&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
