Thanks Manikumar. This is what I believe to be the case based on what I've read in the docs and on some other posts.

Regards,
Ry

unicast support

Hello community,

Our overall network consists of distinct data centers, connected by fiber (2-3ms latency). This is not geographically dispersed...so, not necessarily a WAN. Communication between these two areas is by unicast only. We would like to setup our CDH cluster to span both of these data centers to maintain an active/active setup.

I have been unable to locate a definitive answer on this: does CDH/Clouder Manager support unicast?

Any other feedback in regards to the situation I described above is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ry

I don't think cloudera manager or hadoop framework handles unicast...Every server in hadoop echo system are connected and communicated all the time.
