ODBC Drivers for Hive - Cloudera vs. Hortonworks

Are the ODBC Drivers for Hive the same for Cloudera and Hortonworks? Flexera indicates they are the same product due to the merger. @ADingmando you have a use case, or you have any particular issue that you'd like assistance with?

The ODBC Drivers are built for CDH and HDP release. I believe there should be a release notes if you unpack the contents and compare the fixes each ODBC driver contains.
