    <description>Hi marccasajus,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I deleted the pid file and started the agent using sudo service cloudera-scm-agent start coommand and agent is now up and running. Seems like pid file was from older session.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for all the help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;priya</description>
