    <description>You can create a new Hue user 'hdfs' and login as that to become an actual HDFS superuser if you need to be one.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Otherwise, working under /user/cloudera sub-directories will still work as your current login.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;IN the latest Quickstart VM I logged on to HUE using cloudera id. In the file browser when I try to create a directory I get the message&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;'&lt;STRONG&gt;you are a Hue admin but not a HDFS superuser &lt;/STRONG&gt;'. So, how can I fix this?&amp;nbsp; Do we have an Id on the VM image that can be used that does not have these limitations.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thanks! Can I just create a userid hdfs with any password or would that&lt;BR /&gt;have to match the password on of hdfs on hadoop cluster.       <description>&lt;P&gt;The Hue accounts by default are not linked to Unix accounts, so you can set any password you require.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
