Why after submitting a pig job does it fail to start and how can I fix it?

I was following the Sandbox tutorial (Lab 3 - Pig Risk Factor Analysis) but when I got to the last stage and executed the script I got a "java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out" error.

There is a chance that your cluster is busy and could not finish the request. There is no network connectivity
