Deleted application.log

Was trying to empty the /var/log/cloudera-director/application.log file - so I deleted it and recreated.

Now nothing gets written to it when running cloudera-director. I heard Cloudera Director might reference the original application.log inode? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Please check file permissions (the cloudera-director user should have write permissions) and restart the server.

Thanks! I made sure cloudera-director user and group had rw and then did a server reboot.

The log is back 🙂
