Ambari Hadoop Installation gives error for HDP-UTILS-1.1.0.20 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found"

Hi,

We are trying to do Hadoop 2.4 cluster setup using Ambari on CentOS6. But during installation it gives error as shown below.

Trying other mirror.
Error: failure: repodata/7fd58b2be8c4f83dc8fa527736863d1aa4999069909489b3cf49f91ddd0b02dc-primary.sqlite.bz2 from HDP-UTILS-1.1.0.20: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

After checking on HortonWork's repo, I found that the requested file (7fd58b2be8c4f83dc8fa527736863d1aa4999069909489b3cf49f91ddd0b02dc-primary.sqlite.bz2) does not exist as shown in screenshot below.

Base URL for repo defined in HDP-UTILS.repo is http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP-UTILS-1.1.0.20/repos/centos6, which is correct.

All I want to know is that is that if we are missing on any step or if the file name which is generated through Ambari is incorrect.

Your quick help will be appreciated.

this might help to solve your issue.

Make sure you issue -

#yum clean metadata

#yum clean all

Can you try "yum clean all" and try again.

#yum clean all

#yum repolist
