    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A rel="user" href="https://community.cloudera.com/users/7369/omkarmotoe.html" nodeid="7369"&gt;@omkar pathallapalli&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This issue should be resolved by adding &lt;STRONG&gt;--driver com.mysql.jdbc.Driver&lt;/STRONG&gt; at the end of the sqoop command.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For  example:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;sqoop import --connect $DB_CONNECTION --username $DB_USERNAME --password $DB_PASSWORD --table salaries  --target-dir /tmp/salaries  --outdir sqoop_import  -m -1  --fields-terminated-by ','  &lt;STRONG&gt;--driver com.mysql.jdbc.Driver&lt;/STRONG&gt;
