To add a second (or a third) Knox instance, go to Ambari, then to hosts tab, select the host on which you want to add a new Knox instance, click on the add button and select Knox.

For load balancing you need to use a load balancer in front of the several Knox instances.

Below are the steps you should perform to add/use multiple Knox Gateways.

1. Add Knox to the host, go to Ambari, then to hosts tab, select the host on which you want to add a new Knox instance, click on the add button and select Knox.

2. Configure Loadbalancer i.e. haproxy for Knox Loadbalancing.

Yes you can @Hemant Kumar Dindi.. You can do this by registering service, services components and hosts using Ambari APIs.
