      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I started working with HDFS commands, with my HDP sandbox  I do see, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/home/hdfs (in local file system)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/user/hdfs (in HDFS file system)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is the difference between these two hdfs users.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;These are home directories for 'hdfs' user. /home/hdfs is linux home directory for hdfs and /user/hdfs is HDFS filesystem homedirecotry for user 'hdfs' &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So, you mean, here we have only one user called hdfs with 2 home directories.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;one for local File System&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the second for HDFS File System..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
