    <description>&lt;P&gt;You may find it much more difficult to attempt to overlay Cloudera Manager on top of an existing CDH cluster rather than just starting over and letting Cloudera Manager install the CDH software for you. &amp;nbsp;The Cloudera Manager Installation process, documented &lt;A href="http://www.cloudera.com/content/cloudera-content/cloudera-docs/CM5/latest/Cloudera-Manager-Installation-Guide/Cloudera-Manager-Installation-Guide.html" target="_self"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;, actually installs CDH and configures it for you in our recommended "best practices" configuration. &amp;nbsp;It's a very simple process through CM, I would recommend you do that.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Here is a new user.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I install the CDH cluster first .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And now I want to use the CDH manager to manage the cluster.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can I just install the manager &amp;nbsp;now?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you .&lt;/P&gt;</description>
