    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey Lubin,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am also facing same issue in Atlas-Ranger vm.Actually i am not getting lineage for hive tables but if i run the sqoop demo which is present on that machine then i can able to see lineage otherwise not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also wonder that why this is happening with atlas.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm having trouble with Hive and Atlas.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Are all services started? Have you tried restarting the ones that have issues?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Fixed it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I removed the atlas.pid file and restarted the atlas-server.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;rm /var/run/atlas/atlas.pid
python /usr/hdp/current/atlas-server/bin/atlas_start.py&lt;/PRE&gt;</description>
