Oozie workflow does not terminate even after completing successfully

I have two workflows that run 4 minutes apart. I notice that when at a stage, usually after close of        business, the workflows do not terminate gracefully even after successfully completing the loading process. Is there any oozie parameter i'm missing?

@kvarakantham It is erratic and doesn't happen all the time. The fact that it happens at all poses a risk that might make us go back to the cronjobs. Like i checked early this morning and it's been working fine all through the night. Have you used oozie in this regard before @kvarakantham and what can you say about its reliability?

Changing from Oracle 12c to MySQL resolved this issue. I can't really place my fingers on what it is that made Oozie epileptic with Oracle 12c.
