Any idea? Is there a way around this? Can I force rebalance? It's a new Kafka instance, nothing to save

Can you please try increasing the zookeeper.session.timeout.ms parameter to some higher value?

can you confirm your brokers are up? Please check the broker logs and paste here if issue is not obvious.

The brokers were up, I shutdown everything and restarted the box and everything was okay.

This is for the sandbox.
