I am not sure about the size. They must be ODBC tables connected to them. I must be 1GB or so

I have a business case to move my entire access data base to any other data base which has the best performance. Can anyone please help me with the suggestion. Is SQL db is the best source to migrate or is there any other alternative. Can anyone help me with the step which must be using for migration

How big is your access database? and why are you trying to migrate?

It sounds like you will be better served my moving to MySql - here are the steps to migrate from access to mysql - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/connector-odbc/en/connector-odbc-examples-tools-with-access-export.html

If you want to explore Bigadata, then you can perhaps move to Hive using Sqoop.. but can't really recommend with certainty without knowing the size or use cases.
