    <description>&lt;P&gt;In this case it sounds like you're looking to 'take over' an existing Solr instance.  Unfortunately that is not something that we support at the moment.  The Ambari Infra Solr Instance is used only for our components that depend on Solr to index data (Atlas, Ranger, LogSearch Tech Preview).  So you can consider these instances of Solr as restricted for use only by HDP Stack components.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
