Installing Ranger through Ambari gets stuck @ "ASSIGN MASTERS" STAGE

Installing Ranger from using Ambari Wizard gets stuck at stage where masters are assigned . After hitting Next the wizard does not move to the next screen.

Ambari Version : 2.4.2

1. Which logs would provide details about the progress , couldn't find much details under ambari-server logs .

Could you please try restarting your ambari server once and check?

If issue persists, right click on the browser --> Inspect --> console and refresh screen. This should give some more information.

@rgangappa after restarting ambari I saw the same issue , but now it works . I still am not sure why this happened.
