Can you name a file with the PutFile processor?

Hi, when using the putfile processor, i see that it adds its own name to a file before adding it to the directory. Is there a way for me to name the file?

Hi @Roger Young,

The processor uses the 'filename' attribute of the flow file. You can use an UpdateAttribute processor to update this attribute to give a custom name to your file.
