    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;--&amp;gt; Created user “XXX” from Hue, when user XXX logged in to hue he is not able to see any databases, he could able to see &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;only default database. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;--&amp;gt; Created group bi_group from hue, there is no unix group- group_bi &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;--&amp;gt; Assigned required application to bi_group from hue. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;--&amp;gt; Assigned user “XXXX” to group “bi_group”, user XXX could able to see the assigned applications when he logged in. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;--&amp;gt; Connnected to beeline. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;beeline --&amp;gt; Created database -&amp;gt; create database bi_database; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;beeline --&amp;gt; use bi_database; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;beeline --&amp;gt; Created role -&amp;gt; create role bi_role; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;beeline --&amp;gt; grant role bi_role to group bi_group &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;beeline --&amp;gt; grant all on database bi_database to role bi_roles; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;after doing this stuff user not able to see only default database from hue, from hive he is not able to create table under bi_database. But he could able to do show tables; show databases; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please suggest, did i am missing any steps?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
