    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying
to run HDP 2.5 in VMWare player by selecting “Open a Virtual Machine” button
but every time it is throwing an error saying:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Failed to open virtual machine: SHA1 digest of
file
HDP_2.5_docker_vmware_25_10_2016_08_59_25_hdp_2_5_0_0_1245_ambari_2_4_0_0_1225-disk1.vmdk
does not match manifest.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="14632-vmware-player.png" style="width: 1366px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.cloudera.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/17589i842637359DFCADBF/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="14632-vmware-player.png" alt="14632-vmware-player.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A rel="user" href="https://community.cloudera.com/users/15712/pradhumankumarg.html" nodeid="15712"&gt;@Pradhuman Gupta&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Usually this kind of issue indicates a corrupted "vmdk" image file.  So please check the "md5sum" result of the file that you downloaded to make sure that it is not corrupted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can find the md5sum result of your sandbox vm from: &lt;A href="https://hortonworks.com/downloads/#sandbox" target="_blank"&gt;https://hortonworks.com/downloads/#sandbox&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also you might want to refer to VMWare Sandbox prerequisite:https://hortonworks.com/hadoop-tutorial/hortonworks-sandbox-guide/#section_3&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are some tools available but those are not guaranteed to fix such issue.
