NiFI UI Slowness with more than 1000 templates

NiFi UI becomes very slow i.e unresponsive all calls take 2-5 min or sometimes does not respond.

My flow.xml.gz file size is 20 MB when it is compressed and 260 MB uncompressed size.

System Configurations: Allocated 20 GB Heap Memory and 8 Cores.

The number of templates you have created will have no impact on NiFi UI performance. When you instantiate a template to the canvas it is merely building a flow like any other flow you would construct.

When it comes to UI performance/responsiveness, a good first place to start is with how many NiFi components you have on your canvas and what state they are currently in. The following article should help you there:
