what is the next HDP version that should be released in the coming month and the latest OS for this version

according to hortonworks INFO - https://supportmatrix.hortonworks.com

we can learn that the latest HDP version is 3.1.0 and the latest OS REDHAT version that should support HDP 3.1.0 is 7.5

since we plan to use the REDHAT version - 7.6 for OS in the future

and still we not know what is the next HDP version from HORTONWORKS

is it possible to know what should be the BETA HDP version? that should be released by HORTONWORKS and the latest OS that should be support that version ?

Hi @Michael Bronson,

we dont have any blog or place where we can keep track of Beta Hadoop releases.

But yeah we have a blog here : https://hortonworks.com/blog/ where you can get to know the features of existing products , details about new releases.

as IMHO I don't see any of our versions support RHEL 7.6 now.

Its always better to be in supported operating system

I think hortonworks close the test about 7.6 version and approve it
