Hi All,

We have implemented Hive and HDFS replications through Cloudera BDR.

Creation and modification of replication schedules is done using CM API.

One of the problem we are facing is that the 'id' of the replication schedule created is determined by the CM.

I would like to know if there is a way we can provide our own 'id'. This would help us a lot to integrate with the rest of the system.

Thanks in advance

Sebin

Hi Sebin,

Regrettably this is not currently possible - CM will assign an ID for all replication jobs whether submitted by the API or otherwise. We have a feature request for this, internally tracked as OPSAPS-22489 however this is not currently scheduled for any pending release.

Thanks,

Michael
