I have an hive2 action in Oozie which run an hql script. The script simply creates several views on an hive database. It has always worked fine, but suddenly yesterday I got the following failure:
Unexpected end of file when reading from HS2 server.
The root cause might be too many concurrent connections.
Please ask the administrator to check the number of active connections,
and adjust hive.server2.thrift.max.worker.threads if applicable.
This confuses me a bit, since it is only a single hive script running which should not exausths the available connections to HiveServer2. Also I've checked in the Cloudera Manager for HiveServer2 max threads number and it is set very high.
Could someone explain why I am getting this error and how I can fix it?
